BUILDING FOR AN ARCHITECT

BRANDING
IDENTITY
WEBSITE

Visuals drive every website. For a minimalist, modern architect, the visual approach has to reflect the vision of someone with refined sensibilities and a reputation for functionality in physical spaces.

As part of this assignment, we also created a new visual identity for the firm. It had to be versatile enough to be etched in stone and perched atop a website. Clean lines housed in a solid structure are intended to convey the brand’s approach to architecture.

This website leverages unconventional scrolling to immediately pull the visitor through case study examples of MIN+ Architecture’s work. That’s where the proof lies. Everything else is secondary.

Even the navigation is tucked into a corner and condensed to an icon that animates upon rollover.

Once a project is selected, the site conforms around each individual case. Copy is used to call attention to structural components and finishing elements that highlight the intentional design decisions. Because each project takes on its own aesthetic–from a lakefront home to a chain of retail dispensaries–it was important to create an experience to complement specific visuals.

The about section introduces the team and outlines the philosophy behind the work.
